The first thing I changed in the picture was the brightness because in the original, it was too dim and hard to see. The next thing I done was cut out the sky and insert a new scanned picture of the sky to give the picture a more lively effect.
In order to cut out the sky from the background of the picture, I used the pen tool since it allows you to be very precise and any mistakes you make can be undone which is not the case when using the lasso tools.
I put the picture of the new sky into a layer below the original image after I had removed the old sky and used some blending tools to make the picture fit the original image and not have any noticeable defects.
